Freedom Ops - The Origins
Freedom Ops was established in September 2024. However the origins of Freedom Ops dates back to November 2016 in Jacksonville Florida when these events started as GROWRUCK 001, a custom Go Ruck Tough challenge under Cadre Linus aka. Cadre Daniel, Danny Stokes, along with F3 Nation founders OBT and Dredd as Trainers for the event.
Then in April 2021 GTE was born, Growruck Training Events. A full weekend event.
July 2022 saw the introduction of an Impact element to the weekend event with IMPACT 01 at Plainfield, IL.
In 2023 the team developed and delivered Valour and Respect events. After hosting 11 events during the calendar year, a team build out was required to extend the team. Training more Cadre and assigning team positions to overseas cadre for an international growth program which started at Learner Course 48, Wilmington, North Carolina.
Here in the UK we hosted the first official event under the new construct. It was a GTE weekend in Guildford, Surrey England. GTE 55 - The Fortress.

F3 NATION
F3 Nation, or F3, is a network of free, peer-led workouts for men, founded in the United States on January 1, 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina with an estimated 75,000+ active participants. These participants can be found at approximately 4,368 workout locations in 48 different states and 17 countries on 5 continents
The F3 name is an initialism, which stands for fitness, fellowship and faith, referring to the group's three organizing principles.
F3 has 5 "Core Principles" for their workouts.
- Be free of charge.
- Be open to all men.
- Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold.
- Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary.
- End with a Circle of Trust.
F3 is affiliated with FiA, or Females in Action, a network of free, peer-led workouts for women.
Each man participating in an F3 workout is assigned a nickname which he'll use during subsequent workouts.
F3 began in 2011, in North Carolina when two friends (David Redding and Tim Whitmire) in Charlotte, North Carolina started a boot camp style workout for men.
F3 participants apply a distinctive lexicon of terms during their workouts. For example, an informal group leader is known as a "Nantan," a term adopted from an Apache word meaning chief.

F3 SE UK
F3 UK picks men up and puts them in motion to be better for their families, workplaces and communities.
Born out of F3 Nation and started operating in the UK in Guildford Surrey, August 2021.
It began as F3 SE UK, but now has Areas of Operation in the Midlands and Yorkshire.
The core principles, mission and credo are in line with those of F3 Nation.

Freedom Ops the premier F3 leadership development event, designed to help you and your F3 Region Accelerate. You will spend time with your F3 brothers, learn leadership principles from F3 Nation Cadre and trainers, then turn your head knowledge into heart knowledge over the course of a 12+ hour ruck-based event. We promise, you won’t leave the weekend the way you started.
